Realm of Air

Aria’s Domain

The Realm of Aria soars thousands of feet above the landscape of Donum, concealed within the clouds of the sky. Once a thriving part of the surface, it now holds a shattered civilization, ravaged by battles, and forever encased in crystal. The ruined civilization now home to the spirits of the departed both friend and foe. Swirling winds and crumbling platforms protect the land from intruders, preserving the secrets of its tragic past. Only the brave and daring venture into this realm, seeking answers from the enigmatic spirits that linger, forever bound to the shattered city in the sky.

Realm of Fire

Pyre’s Domain

Beyond the Forgotten Dunes, in the far east, lies a dormant volcano cradling the Realm of Pyre. The charred landscape is an ideal habitat for the drake-like Narrodine people. Isolated from much of the world, the heart of the volcano stirs, sensing the growing unease spreading throughout the realm. A hidden city sits upon a platform within the center of the volcano with hidden passages and roping trails along the inner edge of the volcano. It remains hidden and untouched from most of the world of Donum, a well-guarded sanctuary for the Narrodine people. The city's ingenious design and the natural barriers of the volcano offer protection against intruders and the prying eyes of outsiders.

Realm of Water

Ura’s Domain

Nestled at the heart of Donum, the Realm of Ura lies nestled along the eastern edge of Crystalline Lake. The tranquil waters around the edges support the neighboring Eldenguard race. However, a somber reminder of past battles and poison lingers in the depths at its center. Only a few brave souls dare to venture there and witness the abandoned islet, shrouded in fog, guarded by the watchful depths of the dark waters.

Realm of Nature

Verdure’s Domain

On the western coast of Donum lies a verdant expanse, adorned with lush rainforests that encompass the region. Dominating the landscape stands the awe-inspiring Realm of Verdure, a colossal tree visible from all angles. At its majestic roots lies a grand opening, revered by the local Dryadalis who call the forest their home. They embark on sacred pilgrimages to offer tokens of respect and devotion at the base of the tree's cavern, seeking the favor of the mystical spirit believed to have brought forth the entire forest during the dawn of Donum's existence, as told in ancient legends.

Realm of Earth

Terra’s Domain

The arid desert region goes by the name of the Realm of Terra, characterized by its expansive deserts and majestic ravines and canyons. Within this desert lies a prominent division, marked by a massive canyon, guarded by the imposing figure of a knight, seemingly chained to the very earth atop the cliffs edge. Once rich with abundant resources, the land suffered over time due to relentless exploitation by the locals, leaving it barren and desolate, save for a few towns scattered across the landscape. These towns are carefully maintained, as the locals believe that any further disturbance might incur the wrath of the earth's protector, the knightly guardian forever bound to safeguard the land.

Realm of Ice

Rime’s Domain

In the northernmost parts of Donum, vast frozen landscapes make much of the area inaccessible. However, certain habitable regions endure, including the Realm of Rime in the northeast. Encircled by ice-shelves, towering white-capped mountains, icy cliffs, and snowdrifts, this wintry expanse is home to the resilient Melphir. They thrive as seasoned hunters, living in close-knit tribes, and firmly believe in the legendary protector whose presence they sense across the frozen ocean, conjuring the endless blizzard that safeguards their land.

Realm of Time

Infinities Domain

The northernmost point of Donum accessible to mortals is the Realm of Eternity. Bordering the forbidden realm of Niflheim, it unveils a mesmerizing landscape resembling a glass floor, offering a glimpse into an infinite expanse reflecting the cosmos. Sand and snow cascade towards the edges, seemingly flowing into eternity. This awe-inspiring place is seldom ventured by mortals, for crossing the cosmic expanse into the everlasting mist beyond marks a journey from which no mortal has ever returned.

Realm of Light

Lumos’ Domain

Located in the southern region of Donum, the captivating Realm of Lumos is blessed with the land's tallest mountain peaks. Perched atop one of these summits, a temple stretches towards the heavens, emanating an eternal light that serves as a ward from the darkness and illuminating the land. Adorned with intricate carvings, the temple narrates the tales and legends of a being whose life was rekindled. Within the shelter of these majestic mountains dwell tranquil tribes of individuals who have lost their homes, seeking protection and compassion to find solace and escape from the shadows that loom.

Realm of Soul

Siela’s Domain

Apart from Niflheim, there is another perilous place within Donum that is best avoided—the desolate wastelands of the Realm of Siela. Situated in the southwestern most part of Donum, these vast wastelands form a graveyard for unfortunate creatures, devoid of any trace of vegetation. Deep within the furthest stretches of this landscape, past the hazy horizon, charred earth, and thorny brambles, emerges a solitary meadow adorned with vibrant flowers, an oasis amidst the macabre. Here, amidst bones and lifeless forms entwined within the roots of nearby plants, fragments of iridescent crystals hover mysteriously in the air. Yet, within the heart of this meadow, amid a symphony of brilliant pastel hues, rests a single black flower exuding an aura of death.

Niflheim

Niflheim, a desolate and forbidding realm, serves as the solemn convergence point for the damned and banished souls of Donum. It sprawls as an icy wasteland, enshrouded in perpetual darkness, emanating an aura of isolation and despair. Within this haunting landscape, bone-chilling winds pierce the soul, while vast stretches of frozen tundra stretch into the distance, devoid of any signs of life or warmth. Jagged ice formations rise like spectral sentinels, casting an eerie and foreboding presence over the forsaken land. The mournful echoes of lost souls resonate, condemned to wander in eternal solitude. Amidst the bleakness, an unsettling silence prevails, broken only by the distant howls of the icy winds. Seeking refuge in the embrace of a dark and malevolent deity, these forsaken souls eagerly anticipate the moment when their collective darkness shall engulf the vibrant and diverse world of Donum, leaving nothing but an everlasting, soul-shattering twilight in its wake.
